Actually, you’re at an advantage: you haven’t already invested years learning the QWERTY keyboard! Dvorak is easier to learn and our program will teach you to touch-type in record time.
Will my typing speed go down while I’m learning?
In the tutorials, you’ll practice QWERTY alongside Dvorak to keep your typing speed up while you’re learning Dvorak.
Can I really keep both QWERTY and Dvorak in my head?
Of course! We teach you how to flip the mental switch so you can go back and forth when you need to.
Why this course as opposed to other free Dvorak courses?
Other methods:

Will it heal my RSI or carpal tunnel?
This product isn’t medicine or therapy and we don’t claim to heal anything. That said, the Dvorak keyboard makes your fingers travel and contort much less. Where ergonomic products and techniques have failed, hundreds of people have found greater comfort by switching to the Dvorak keyboard. We promise you’ll find typing more comfortable or your money back.
Do I need to buy a new keyboard or rearrange the letters on my keyboard?
No! Your existing keyboard will work without modification. You change a setting in your computer’s control panel (Windows, Mac, or Linux) to choose which keyboard layout you want, regardless of what’s printed on the keys. To help you learn the Dvorak layout, the product includes key labels that have both the QWERTY and Dvorak letters on them. They are easily removed once you’re touch-typing in Dvorak and no longer need the labels.
Do I have to install software on every computer where I want to type?
No! The Dvorak keyboard layout is already built in to every computer you use. Our program teaches you how to type on the Dvorak keyboard and how to activate the Dvorak layout on Windows, Mac, or Linux.
Why Dvorak and not some other “alternative” keyboard?
Sure, there are other alternatives to QWERTY, some of which even have a slight statistical efficiency advantage over Dvorak, but only Dvorak is an ANSI standard, is available on nearly all computers without extra software and is easy to switch back and forth. Dvorak has been around for 76 years and is used by hundreds of thousands worldwide, including the top world record holder and many other notable Dvorak users
